Anna was born in October 1664 in Leimuiden and her baptism took place there on October 26th, 1664.1   Her godfathers were/are Cornelis van Roosenburg, Jacobus van Merwer and her godmother was/is Cornelia Roosenburgh. Anna's father was Carel Copius and her mother was Margaretha Cornelisdr van Roosenburch.  Her paternal grandparents were Theophilus Copius and Elisabeth Ackerman; her maternal grandparents were Cornelis Wouterszn van Rosenburch and Annetgen Fransdr van Merwen. She had two brothers and a sister, named Theophilus, Cornelis and Anna.  She is the third oldest of the four children.
