Cornelis Janszn was born in 1691 and his baptism took place on March 21st, 1691 in Westbroek.1 2  Cornelis Janszn's father was Jan Peterszn Bus and his mother was Aaltje Hendriksdr N.N..  His paternal grandparents were Pieter Bus and N.N. N.N.; his maternal grandparents were Hendrik Barendszn N.N. and Deliaantje Hendriksdr Schaij.  He was an only child.  He died before August 8th, 1722.3
