Sam Tomlinson

Sam was born in 1909 in Drighlington, Yorkshire.¹ Sam's father was Harry Tomlinson and his mother was Ellen Butler. His paternal grandparents were Samuel Tomlinson and Selina Thresh; his maternal grandparents were Joseph Butler and Mary Braithwaite. He was an only child.
