Matthew Henderson

Matthew was born in 1833 in Trimdon, Co Durham.¹ Matthew's father was James Henderson and his mother was Jane Sanderson. His paternal grandparents were John Henderson and Jane Perkins; his maternal grandparents were James Sanderson and Jane Coates. He had four brothers named James, John, William and Sanderson. He was the second youngest of the five children.
