George Boynton 
George was born in 1823 in Armley, Leeds, Yorkshire and his baptism took place there on May 18th, 1823.1 George's father was Robert Boynton and his mother was Ann Holmes. His maternal grandparents were Thomas Holmes and Ann Boys. He had six brothers and five sisters, named Henry, John, Thomas, Robert, Joseph, William, Sarah, Ann, Anne, Mary and Elizabeth. He was the sixth youngest of the twelve children.-
