Mita's father was Naguindas Amarchand Waghela and her mother is Hansa Gangaram Solanki. Her paternal grandparents are Amarchand or Amratlal Harichand Waghela and Rasila Bai Panachand Raghuvanshi; her maternal grandparents are Gangaram Abhechand Solanki and Jayalaxmi Dulabh Waghela. She had a brother and a sister, named Dinis and Nisha [Neri]. Mita is no longer alive.
