Suresh's father is Revalal (Talakchand) Lauchand Rathod and his mother is Jestamati Hirachand Jethva. His paternal grandparents were Lauchande Mulgi Rathod and Dharibai Samji Rathod Tikadiya; his maternal grandparents are Hirachand Kalidas Jethva and Ladhibai Daya. He had three brothers and a sister, named Yashvant, Shashikant, Madhu and Prameshbai. Suresh is no longer alive.
