Jugaldas' father is Givandas Gina and his mother is Jadaubai Jechand [Jarau Bai Gechant].  His paternal grandparents were Gina Khushal [Giná Cuxal] and Hemibai Praggi [Emim Bai]; his maternal grandparents are Jechand Valji [Gechant Valgi] and Jassoda bai. He had two brothers and a sister, named Puspassen, Himatlal and Bhagvati.  He is the oldest of the four children.
