Kishori's father is Tulcidas Ramchand and her mother was Laxmibai Motichand.  Her paternal grandparents are Ramchand Trikam and Vhali; her maternal grandparents are Motichand Mulgi and <Unknown>. She has two brothers and three sisters, named Kirit [Crit], William, Pramodini, Indira and Chandrika.  She is the third oldest of the six children.
