Vassantra's father was Valabhdas Kanji [Valobdás Kangy] and her mother was Dhankunvarbai Lalchand [Dhancuvorbai Lalchande].  Her paternal grandparents are Kanji and <Unknown>; her maternal grandparents are Lalchand Ghela and <Unknown>. She has three brothers and two sisters, named Pratapsinh, Rameshchandra, Ashvinkumar, Savitri Bai and Divyaprabha.  She is the third oldest of the six children.
