Martha was born on February 24th, 1651 in Duxbury, MA. Martha's father was William John Pabodie and her mother was Elizabeth Allen. Her paternal grandparents were John Peabody and Isabel Harper; her maternal grandparents were John Alden and Priscilla Mullins. She had a brother and ten sisters, named William, Elizabeth, Mary, Mercy, Priscilla, Priscilla, Sarah, Ruth, Rebecca, Hannah and Lydia. She was the fourth oldest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 60 on January 25th, 1712 in Little Compton, RI.1 General Notes
