John William was born on November 27th, 1832.  John William's father was John Turner and his mother was Hannah Farrar.  His maternal grandparents were John Farrar and Hannah Eccles. He had a brother and a sister, named Robert Farrar and Margaret Ann.  He was the oldest of the three children.  He died at the age of 26 on December 13th, 1858.
