Sarah Dawes

Sarah was born in 1865 in Sydney, Australia. Sarah's father was Caleb Charles Dawes and her mother was Margaret Allen. Her paternal grandparents were Phillip Dawes and Sarah Jane Austen. She had two brothers and six sisters, named Philip, Caleb, Harriet, Edith, Amy, Sarah Austen, Annie and Margaret. She was the second oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 72 in 1937 in Marrickville, NSW.
