Mary (Jean) Jane Parker

Mary, known as Jean, was born on November 21st, 1879 in 2 Beach Street, Newcastle, NSW, Australia.¹ Jean's father was Thomas Joseph Parker and her mother was Mary McDermott. Her paternal grandparents were Charles Parker and Ellenor Harris; her maternal grandparents were Michael McDermott and Catherine Pendergast. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Thomas, Charles, Bill, Harry, Catherine, Ellen, Alice and Ronnie. She was the fourth youngest of the nine children. She died at the age of 55 in 1934 in Mt. St. Margaret's Hospital, Ryde, Sydney, NSW, Australia.¹
