Adam was born on January 24th, 1818 in Hamptworth, Downton, Wiltshire and his christening took place on February 8th, 1818 in Landford, Wiltshire.1  Adam's father was John Littlecott and his mother was Priscillia Rawlins. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Stephen, Henry, Kezia and Ann.  He was the second oldest of the five children.  He died at the age of 65 in 1883 in Southampton, Hampshire.2
