James Lamb

James was born in December 1914 in Shoreditch, Middlesex.¹ James' father was Thomas John Lamb and his mother was Alice Percy. His paternal grandparents were James Lamb and Elizabeth Palmer; his maternal grandparents were Robert Percy and Sophia Hannah Hillier. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, Andrew, John, Alice, Caroline and Lilian. He was the youngest of the seven children.
