George Henry Knight

George was born on November 20th, 1846 in 1 Johnson Street, St. George in the East, Middlesex.¹ George's father was Robert Knight and his mother was Sarah Ann Jones. His paternal grandparents were Robert Knight and Sarah Burfield; his maternal grandparents were James Jones and Sarah Fardle. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Robert, John, Charles, Samuel, William, James, Sarah, Lucy and Elizabeth. He was the third oldest of the ten children.
