    In 1841 can't find her. > Marriage ref 3Q 1844 Billericay 12 21 both resident in Shenfield. He was 30, a labourer, she was 20, a servant. > In 1851 age 26 living at Priest Lane Shenfield with husband plus Frederick, Hannah and Ellen. > In 1861 age 35 still at Priest Lane with husband plus children Ellen, William, Rhoda and George Husband died 1862...see his notes for 1851 and 1861 census details > In 1871 age 45 living at 6 Priest Lane Shenfield , a widow, working as a char woman, with William age 17, George age 13, and Mary Ann age 9. > In 1881, she is not in Shenfield and doesn't appear in the area. Based on the fact that in 1891 she is a monthly nurse, I think it is the Frances Kemp working as a monthly nurse with the Taff Family in Walthamstow. They have a 3 week old baby. Arthur Taff is an uphoksterer. Problem is that her age is given as 50 when according to previous censuses and marriage cert, she should be 55, and her Place of birth is given as Walthamstow, Essex which is about 15 miles from Shenfield. However there is no record of a Frances Kemp in Walthamstow in 1861 or 1871 or the IGI, so I think that it could be that the head of the household just took a guess when he filled iin the fom and this is our one. There are uninhabited cottages in Priest Lane in 1881, so perhaps her house was empty while she was working. > In 1891 age 65, working as a monthly nurse, back in Priest Lane. No family at home, but she has a lodger, a widow age 79, Elizabeth Sworder, retired, born Littke Warley, husband was a woodman in 1881, living in Parnell Road Ingrave. > Died 2Q 1893 Billericay 4a 213 age 69
