    born in Crowland in 1769; christened 13/6/1773 at Crowland (IGI, Lincolnshire C0033) married Mary (formerly West) (she was born circa 1788 [FOV4111]; buried 16/6/1830 [FOV4112]) [FOV3606]: John was from Borough Fen, Mary was from Paston; married 21/3/1807 at Paston Parish Church ; at the time of the marriage he was about 38 years, she was about 19 years Mary died 14/6/1830, buried 16/6/1830 [no registration of death in England and Wales] [FOV4112] at the time of the 1841 census, John lived at Almshouses, Paston, Northamptonshire; [HO107/816] ; aged 73; agricultural labourer; born in the county; [census number CS41.18]: John’s household consisted of: John, aged 73 years [census number CS41.18] Eliza, aged 16 years [census number CS41.19] [FOV3898] Mary, aged 13 years [census number CS41.20] [FOV3899] the 1851 census shows John as widower, aged 84, pauper, born Lincolnshire, Crowland [although the age of 84 does not tie up with the age of 83 shown on his headstone, he was still alive in 1851] John’s death registered in Dec. qtr. 1852 at Peterborough, 3b 128: died 15/10/1852 at Paston, aged 83. He was buried in the Parish Church of Paston, All Saints (“1756” engraved on stone lintel above the entrance): headstone stated: “To the Memory of John Fovargue who died October 15th 1852 aged 83 years. Also 3 children who died in their infancy
