Alice Martha Fovargue

Alice was born on February 10th, 1872 in Coates, Whittlesey, Cambridgeshire.¹ Alice's father was John Triplow Fovargue and her mother was Eliza Ann Blunt. Her paternal grandparents were John Triplow Fovargue and Mary Ann Fovargue. She had a brother and three sisters, named John, Mary, Elizabeth and Eliza. She was the oldest of the five children. She died at the age of 76 on March 30th, 1948 in St John's Hospital, Peterborough.¹

General Notes
- In 1901 census was single, aged 31, a cook/domestic living in Brackley, Northants. In Jan 1937 when applied for her old age pension her address was c/o Almonds Hotel, Clifford Street, Bond Street, London. Died in St John's Hospital, Peterborough, and home address given as 54 Gilpin Street, Peterborough (possibly home of her daughter-in-law's parents)
