Jean was born on January 1st, 1624 in Le Bucquet, SEINE-MARITIME, France.1   Jean's father was Noel Follenfant and his mother was Jeanne Larchevesque. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Pierre, Judith, Madeleine, Anne and Judith.  He was the oldest of the six children.
