Geoffrey was born in 1935 in West Bromwich, Stafford.1  Geoffrey's father was Joseph KNOTT and his mother was Rose WOODHOUSE.  His maternal grandparents were William WOODHOUSE and Emma COTTON. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Joseph, Ronald, Brian, Ada and Brenda.  He died at the age of 7 in 1942 in West Bromwich, Stafford.1
