Fred was born in 1891 in Sibford Gower, Oxfordshire.  Fred's father was James HUNT and his mother was Sarah BONEHAM.  His paternal grandparents were John HUNT and Alice HUTT. He had a brother and four sisters, named Sidney, Esther, Lizzie, Fanny and Nellie.  He was the third oldest of the six children.
