Emeline 'Emma' Rogers

Emeline 'Emma' was born on October 14th, 1842 in Seneca Falls, New York.¹ Emeline 'Emma''s father was William W. Avery and her mother was Susannah Avery. Her paternal grandfather was William Avery and her paternal grandmother is Hannah Avery. She had three brothers and four sisters, named William 'Will' Henry, Jeffrey G. 'Gid', A. Charles, Mary E., Louisa B., Hannah M. and Clarissa G.. She died at the age of 24 on April 10th, 1867 in Eaton Rapid, Michigan.²

General Notes
- According to the obituary of Albert Rogers, from the Eaton Rapids Journal, dated January 6, 1899, Emeline was a teacher at the time of her death. Her husband Albert Rogers was also a school teacher, and no doubth this is probably how they met. The above news paper article indicates that they moved to Michigan in 1866.
