Jacob's father is David Oliver and his mother was Sarah Pedrick.  His paternal grandfather is David Oliver and his paternal grandmother was Grace Oliver; his maternal grandparents were John Pedrick and Miriam. He had three brothers and three sisters, named David, Thomas, John, Meriam, Grace and Sarah. He has a half-brother and two half-sisters, named Henry, Miriam and Sarah.
