Benjamin was born in Stratford, Avon, England.  Benjamin's father was Richard Nason and his mother was Sarah Nason.  His paternal grandparents are John Nason and Elizabeth Nason; his maternal grandparents are John Baker and Sarah. He had six brothers and a sister, named John, Joseph, Jonathan, Richard, Benjamin, Charles and Sarah.  He died in Berwick, York, Maine.
