Joseph Jackson

Joseph was born in 1786 in Newry, Oxford, Maine.¹ Joseph's father was Joseph Jackson and his mother was Mercy Jackson. His paternal grandfather was Benjamin Jackson. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Moses, Willard, Josiah, Marcy, Nancy and Dorothea (Dolly). He died at the age of 89 in 1875.¹

General Notes
- Benjamin Jackson , son of Joseph Jackson of Newry , born in 1814 , married Sarah Evans of Shelburne, N. H. He was by trade a tailor, and carried on business in this town many years.
