Nathaniel was born on April 16th, 1640 in Charlestown, Suffolk, Massachusetts.1   Nathaniel's father was William Frothingham and his mother was Anne Kettlell. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Joseph, Peter, John, Stephen, Samuel, Hannah, Mary, Bethia and Elizabeth.  He died at the age of 48 on December 12th, 1688 in Charlestown, Suffolk, Massachusetts.  He was buried after December 12th, 1688 in Phipps Street Burial Ground, Charlestown, Middlesex, Massachusetts.2
