John was born on November 30th, 1669 in Marlboro, Middlesex, Massachusetts.1   John's father was John Fay and his mother was Mary Fay.  His paternal grandfather is David Fay; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Brigham and Mercy Rice. He had two brothers and a sister, named David, Samuel and Mary. He had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named David, Gershom, Deliverance and Ruth.  He died at the age of 77 on January 5th, 1747 in Westboro, Middlesex, Massachusetts.2
