Nancy Elizabeth DUTCH (Heard)

Nancy was born on February 9th, 1915 at 209 Ardgowan Road.¹

Birth Notes
- Short form certificate does not state place of birth, but I know from what my mother said that she was born at home. Apparently my Uncle Bob, arriving home from school to find that a new baby had been born during the day, took one look at her and said "I'll never swear again". He was nine.

Nancy's father was Edwin James DUTCH and her mother was Constance Mary HIGGINSON (Dutch). Her paternal grandparents were James DUTCH and Louisa SNELGROVE (Dutch); her maternal grandparents were Frederick HIGGINSON and Mary WORFOLK (Higginson). She had three brothers and three sisters, named Dick, Philip, Bob, Freda, Dorothy and Elsie. She was the youngest of the seven children. She died due to Breast Cancer at the age of 82 on August 26th, 1997 at 54 Wood Lodge Lane. The funeral took place on September 3rd, 1997 at Beckenham Crematorium and was arranged by J & R Killick Ltd. Her cremation was on September 3rd, 1997 at Beckenham Crematorium.²³
