Juana Josefina was born in year 1899.  Juana Josefina's father was Máximo Lugon Seppey and her mother was María Crescencia Fiant Imhoff.  Her paternal grandparents were José Lugon and Magdalena Seppey; her maternal grandparents were  Francisco (Franz) Juan Fiant (Fient) and  Adelina (Alina) Imhoff Imhassli.  She was the oldest of eight children.  She had four brothers and three sisters, named Victorio Manuel, José María, Sixto Lisardo, Máximo Marcelo, Audelina Magdalena, Odilia Leonor and Delia Sofía.
