Yona was born in 1932.  Yona's father was Abraham (Buma) Strauber and his mother was Roza Landman.  His paternal grandparents are Itzhak Strauber and Sara; his maternal grandparents were Yona Landman and Chava Eva.  He was an only child.  He died  due to Holocaust at the age of 10 in 1942.
