Fischel was born in 1880.  Fischel's father was Wolf Reichner and his mother was Sara Jente Stok. He had a brother and three sisters, named Moses, Lea, Leibe and Freide.  He was the third oldest of the five children. He had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named Moshe, Hinde and Shoshana.  He died at the age of 79 in 1959.
