Sandor was born in 1905 in Subotica, Serbia (former Yugoslavia and Austro Hungary).  Sandor's father was Oskar Perl and his mother was Lenka Kraus.  His paternal grandparents were Sandor Perl and Betti; his maternal grandparents were Yosef Kraus and Chana Nina Lederr. He had a sister named Piroska Romenka.  He was the older of the two children.  He died  due to Holocaust.
