Julius was born on July 14th, 1886 in Szirak, Hungary.  Julius' father was Yosef Kraus and his mother was Chana Nina Lederr. He had two brothers and four sisters, named David, Herman, Regina, Rosa, Lenka and Paula.  He died  due to Holocaust at the age of 58 in 1944 in Auschwitz camp.
