Berta was born in 1896.  Berta's father was Eliezer Friedlander and her mother was Reisel Anderman.  Her maternal grandparents were Moses Issac Anderman and Peike Liebreich. She had a brother and a sister, named Joe and Tzviah.  She was the second oldest of the three children.  She died at the age of 76 on July 28th, 1972.
