General Notes
- Itkeh's son, Baruch Gellis, on a trip to Albany, NY told the following story to the Editor (Dan Hershberg) at
  Goldberg's Resturant on July 13, 2000: Efraim Gellis and Itkeh's Gewirtzman's families lived just across an
  alleyway from each other. Nissan Zvi Gewirtzman (Itkeh's father) and Efraim Gellis's father davened together in
  the same shul. One Shabbat Nissan Zvi heard a young man (Efraim Gellis) deliver a very fine D'var Torah. He
  turned to the man sitting next to him and said "there is a fine young man for my daughter, Itkeh. He will be my
  son-in-law." He went home and told his wife Belchi Terespolski Gewirtzman. They found a matchmaker who
  proposed the marraige to Ephraim Gellis's parents. Efraim's mother said let me check out this girl, Itkeh. She
  went to the Gewirtzman house and saw that Itkeh was making her own noodles. She came home and agreed to
  the arrangement by announcing "that girl can make her own noodles and my son will never go hungry".
