Florrie was born in June 1894 in Bramley Leeds Yorkshire.1   Florrie's father is Henry (Harry) Mann and her mother is Jane Elizabeth Harrison.  Her paternal grandparents are Andrew Mann and Susannah (Mann); her maternal grandparents are James Harrison and Mary Ann (Harrison). She had three brothers and four sisters, named William, James Harrison, Clifford, Lilly, Clara, Nora and Sarah Ellen.  She is the fourth oldest of the eight children.
