Mary was born on November 23rd, 1826 in Farsley Yorkshire.1   Mary's father was Samuel Isles and her mother was Elizabeth (Isles). She had four brothers and a sister, named John, Thomas, William, Benjamin and Jane.  She is the youngest of the six children.
