Hannah was born in 1836 in Farsley Yorkshire.1   Hannah's father is John Isles and her mother was Rebecca (Isles).  Her paternal grandparents were Samuel Isles and Elizabeth (Isles). She has a brother and three sisters, named Jonathan, Maria, Betty and Sarah.  She is the fourth oldest of the five children.
