Arthur was born in 1875 in Crowle, Lincoln, England.1   Arthur's father is James Harrison and his mother is Mary Ann (Harrison).  His paternal grandparents are Gervais Harrison and Sarah (Harrison). He has three sisters named Jane Elizabeth, Emely F and Alice Mary.  He is the second oldest of the four children.
