John was born in 1834 in Bramhope Yorkshire.1   John's father is John Driver and his mother is Mary Jennings. He has three brothers and three sisters, named Nathan, William, Thomas, Elizabeth, Sarah Ann and Jane.  He is the second oldest of the seven children.
