Janette was born on December 3rd, 1902.  Janette's father was John Philip Ziegenhein and her mother was Viola Deer.  Her paternal grandparents were Henry Ziegenhein and Emilie F Gerber; her maternal grandparents were John Deer and Jane Keown. She had a sister named Emilie.  She was the older of the two children.  She died at the age of 82 in 1984.
