John was born about 1425 in Stow.  John's father was Henry Spelman (Stow) and his mother was Isabel Brotherton Beckerton.  His maternal grandfather was Thomas Beckerton and his maternal grandmother is <Unknown>. He had a brother named Robert.  He died about 1460 in Bekerton Church Stow.



John's first family

John and Marion were married.  They had three sons and two daughters, named Henry (Sir), Robert, John, Katherine and Agnes.
