Abner was born on December 22nd, 1844 in Barking Essex and his christening took place on March 26th, 1845 at St Margaret's  Church Barking.  Abner's father was William Vaughan Pyner (Fisherman) and his mother was Margaret Kenny (b Plaistow).  His paternal grandparents were John Pyner and Sarah Vaughan Cartwright; his maternal grandfather was Timothy Kenny and his maternal grandmother is Margaret Hussey. He had a brother named Richard.  He was the younger of the two children. He had a half-sister named Elizabeth.  He died at the age of 29 on April 12th, 1874 in Barking Essex.  The funeral took place on April 19th, 1874 at St Margaret's  Church Barking.  He was buried on April 19th, 1874 at St Margaret's  Church Barking.1 2
