John was born on January 26th, 1850 in Bull St Barking Essex and his christening.¹

John's father was William Oakley (Fisherman) and his mother was Mary Malony. He was an only child. He died at the age of 84 on April 12th, 1934 at 14 St Bernards Road East Ham. The funeral took place on April 15th, 1934 in St Patrick's Cemetery Leytonstone. He was buried on April 15th, 1934 in St Patrick's Cemetery Leytonstone.¹¹
