Hannah was born in 1834 in Barking Essex.  Hannah's father was John Lewsey (Servant/Carrier) and her mother was Sarah Sharp. She had four brothers and seven sisters, named John, William, Thomas, Richard, Sarah, Mary, Marie, Eliza, Susan, Rebecca and Jane.  She was the fourth youngest of the twelve children.



Hannah's family

Hannah and Edwin were married in a religious ceremony on June 27th, 1865 in Leyton Parish Church.  They had a son and two daughters, named Henry, Emma and Maud.
