William was born in 1769.  William's father was Alexander Glenny and his mother was Deborah Harison. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Alexander, James, George, John, Elizabeth, Mary and Sarah.  He died at the age of 81 on April 10th, 1850.

William and Molly were married in a religious ceremony on August 29th, 1797 at St Margarets Barking witnessed by George - Mary - Sarah Glenny & John Cuff.  They had six sons and three daughters, named William, Edward, Robert, Thomas, Henry, Francis, Ellen, Deborah and Ann.
