Thomas was born in 1776 in Barking Essex.  Thomas' father was Joseph of Lamberth Frogley and his mother was Jane Wells.  His maternal grandparents are Morewell Wells and Jane Vaughan?. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Joseph, James, George, Edward, Jane, Frances and Frances.  He was the third youngest of the eight children.  He died in Nelson St Barking Essex.  The funeral took place at St Margaret's  Church Barking.1 1
