Eliza was born on April 29th, 1847 in Barking Essex and her baptism took place on July 21st, 1847 at St Margaret's  Church Barking.  Eliza's father was Charles Dunsdon (Fisherman) and her mother was Sarah Lewsey.  Her paternal grandparents were Charles Dunsdon (Fisherman) and Mary Lucas (Mangler); her maternal grandparents were John Lewsey (Servant/Carrier) and Sarah Sharp. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Charles, Frederick, George, Sarah, Alice, Martha and Mary.  She was the second oldest of the eight children.  She died at the age of 73 on July 13th, 1920 in Barking Essex.  The funeral took place in July 1920 at the Rippleside Cemetery Barking.  She was buried in July 1920 at the Rippleside Cemetery Barking.

Eliza and Henry were married in a religious ceremony on June 26th, 1866 at St Dunstan Stepney.
